Paper fans, usually used in Japanese culture play a very important role in Japan’s ceremonial traditions. ​The 3D paper fans we used for this collection were hand made and painted in watercolour, then photographed, edited and printed on fabric. The Japanese theme for our show that was showcased recently at the MFW2015 was complimented with stylised geisha makeup, hair and catwalk music.
